Academic accreditation

Mohammed Al-Mana College for Medical Sciences has been granted four-year institutional accreditation from the Education and Training Evaluation Commission/National Commission on Academic Accreditation and Assessment (NCAAA). The accreditation ensures that the institution upholds the NCAAA standards and has achieved remarkable level of best practices within the quality standards of the commission. This milestone recognizes MACHS’ effort to provide robust platform and excellent offerings focused on quality instruction, training, community service and research. “This is added to what we have accomplished so far and hopefully a springboard to more achievements in the future” said Prof. Emad Alshwaimi, the College Dean in his congratulatory note. He thanked the management led by Dr. Aisha Al-Mana, the college’s General Supervisor for the untiring support to achieve this undertaking as well as the faculty, staff and students. “Many thanks to the Quality Affairs and Accreditation Unit for their dedication and hard work and to each department head and members for their work and cooperation”, he further noted. This conditional accreditation is a culmination of the College’s several years of diligence from the proposal, workshops, preparation and submission of eligibility requirements in 2019 to interviews and verification of documents by the external review board this past February. This marks a celebration of collaborative efforts and an affirmation that MACHS aims towards continuous improvement. As of writing, MACHS is the 1st Private College for Medical Sciences accredited institutionally by the NCAAA in the Eastern province.
